AREAS OF USE
BETTOSEAL B1K is used in the insulation of underground spaces
such as cellars, basements, closed parking lots, bathrooms,
It is used to prevent leaking water in wet areas such as kitchens and
balconies. It is used on indoor and outdoor, vertical and horizontal
concrete surfaces.

APPLICATION METHOD
• Apply at least two coats of BETTOSEAL B1K to the surface with
a minimum dry film thickness of 3 mm.
• Low air temperature (+5˚C to +15˚C) and high relative humidity (>
In case of application under 60%) conditions, in order to control the
drying time and increase the insulation quality, it should be applied
in at least 3 coats, depending on the consumption amount and total
dry film thickness information.
• After the first coat is completely dry, the second coat is applied in
a direction perpendicular to the first coat. Subsequent coats should
always be applied after the previous coat has dried and in a
direction perpendicular to the previous application.
• Depending on the characteristics of the application surface,
application can be made by placing a mesh between two coats
when deemed necessary. In cases requiring mesh application, one
coat is applied first and the mesh is laid on it before it dries.
